This page lists modern publications (post-1870), some of them extremely rare in paper format, that contain one or more chant pieces that are useful to the Nocturnale Romanum Project.
They may be drafts of the abandoned Nocturnale from Solesmes in the 1910s-1920s, drafts of pieces composed by Solesmes monks (Gajard, Mocquereau, Sainte-Beuve, etc.) but never published and uncovered by us in the Solesmes archives, typicæ editions of the Office of new feasts published by the Vatican but never sold at large, or typicæ editions of proper Offices published by singular dioceses or communities.
An early draft (pre-1912) of the Common tones of the Office and Mass that eventually would find its way into the 1912 AR, with (many!) corrections from an unnamed hand at Solesmes (Mocquereau?)
